This position will assist experienced Attorneys across a variety of cases, involving commercial litigation, real estate, employment, and insurance defense. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in commercial litigation and the New Jersey litigation process.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor the progress of pre-litigation and litigation matters.
  • Manage calendars, including court dates and meeting deadlines.
  • Draft correspondence to clients and opposing parties.
  • Assist attorneys in New Jersey litigation.
  • Engage with clients.
  • Compose legal documents including motions, complaints, and discovery.
  • Maintain and organize records, files, and databases.
  • Case management.
  • Possess knowledge of local court rules and regulations.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Paralegal experience.
  • Paralegal Certification or Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies (preferably with a Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Must be familiar with NJ litigation process and e-filing.
  • Understanding of local court rules and procedures essential for the job.
  • Knowledge of Insurance Defense, Consumer Fraud, or Commercial Litigation is a plus.
  • Capable of forming and preparing legal documents.
  • Profound familiarity with legal terms and regulations.
  • Ability to conduct research and investigations.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Initiative and follow-through skills are a must.
