Exloc Instruments, Inc. was born from a desire to provide one convenient source for instruments, electronic devices and other products specifically designed and approved for use in hazardous classified locations involving flammable gas and dust atmospheres. We specialize in products which are outside the scope of the mainstream process control vendors. Our products carry the latest hazardous area certifications and approvals from the top notified bodies.
Launched and managed by individuals with a long history of experience and innovation in this unique field of engineering, Exloc has grown to be a widely recognized and respected vendor. Initially serving industrial clients in North America, Exloc is rapidly acquiring customers throughout the world. In 2012 a sister company was launched in the United Kingdom.
Exloc has partnered with experienced and respected manufacturers in Europe and North America. The result is a constantly growing selection of products which complement each other with minimal overlap. By picking products which are the best in their class our customers are able to make qualified and timely purchasing decisions with a minimum of time spent on research.
Keeping abreast of new developments brings the latest technological gains to our customers. The traditional dividing line between products specially engineered for hazardous location duty and those used elsewhere has become increasingly blurred. We are now able to offer familiar everyday devices which have been adapted and approved for use in hazardous plant areas.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
· Responsible for sales and marketing activities for the Mobility Solutions Business Unit within a defined region.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Direct and coordinate business unit sales and marketing functions.
· Arrange and attend face-to-face business meetings with prospective and existing clients.
· Direct and oversee the business unit marketing functions to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
· Build and manage effective sales channels for Business Unit.
· Develop effective plans to identify, register, train and mentor resellers.
· Work closely with team members to ensure authorized resellers are protected and supported on key opportunities using the “deal registration” program.
· Carry out product training for sales channels and Exloc sales team members and ensure they are kept up to date with the latest products and solutions.
· Research and develop strategies and plan and identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
· Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
· Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
· Participate in the development of new project proposals.
· Establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
· Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
· Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
· Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
· Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
· Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
· Provide product and application support for the other Sales team members.
· Maintain accurate customer records on company CRM system including logging and updating of customer opportunities
· Other duties as assigned.
