Our client is seeking a Business Analyst I who will lead efforts to utilize data, trend analysis, and reporting to improve processes and drive efficient solutions. The Business Analyst I will gather, develop, validate, and analyze data across multiple teams and work with SMEs and management to design, build, and implement quality monitoring tools, inventory management tools, dashboards, and reports. The Business Analyst I will ensure all team reports are delivered accurately and on time, will provide oversight to lower levels, and may lead and direct the work of others. An advanced degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Client setup data governance oversight and supporting resource / capacity planning, inventory management, reporting & analytics, desk-level procedures, and training.
  • Drives the use of analysis in end-to-end process reporting, improvements, and change.
  • Provides oversight and accountability for the timely and accurate delivery of performance and inventory reports, process improvements, and resource coaching to improve outcomes.
  • Works with client setup team to utilize data to drive innovative development of process improvement opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with group setup, Operations, Sales, Underwriting, and group setup vendor to facilitate and drive successful client setup.
  • Works directly with client setup management to establish and implement the strategic direction for the team.
  • Reports production, quality, and timeliness measures for client setup.


  • Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 3+ years proven work experience in a business unit or equivalent external work experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Effective facilitation and presentation skills are necessary to demonstrate business solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to work independently on projects and demonstrate strong and effective leadership skills.
  • Must have analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office products and project management software is required.
