Key Responsibilities:

  1. Creative Leadership:

Strong ability to conceive of and execute big ideas that are on-brand and can translate across all areas of the business that challenge convention and norms.

Lead and inspire the creative team to produce innovative and compelling designs.

  1. Project Oversight:

Review and approve all creative materials, including brand development, ads, emails, social media content, web designs, deck design, and more.

Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards, are on-brand, and are delivered on time.

  1. Collaboration:

Work closely with the Creative Director and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.

Collaborate with team in a positive and productive manner including partnering with copywriters, producers, marketing partners, and fellow designers.

Collaborate with account managers and clients to ensure that creative solutions are effective and aligned with client goals.

  1. Brand Identity Development:

Guide the development and evolution of brand identities for various clients, ensuring they are distinctive, memorable, and align with client visions.

Effectively translate brand positioning and visual identities into successful, compelling campaigns, assets, and activations that are relevant and engaging.

  1. Design Execution:

Execute work that can translate across marketing communications - including print, digital, e-commerce, video, and social media.

Maintain ownership of work from concept through final delivery while appropriately communicating with the Creative Director to ensure alignment.

Stay current with design trends and tools to ensure our creative output is cutting-edge.

  1. Mentorship:

Mentor and develop junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Versed and on top of current trends (design, art, pop culture, typography, advertising, social media, digital, entertainment, etc.)
  • Strong experience and knowledge in branding and design, e-commerce/retail, social/digital first asset creation, and brand guide development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite and all relevant software tied to graphic design, animation and content creation (i.e., figma, canva, etc)
  • Ability to see the large picture while not losing focus of details.
  • High level concepting, knowledge or interest in launching new brands and products.
  • Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and strategies.
  • Ability to art direct for logos, branding, video, photography, and illustration.
  • Eager to learn from others and inspire peers.
  • Experience in developing brand campaigns that are shopper targeted and that span across multiple touchpoints.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills Required

  • 5 years minimum in Graphic Design or similar field.
  • Design Firm/Agency Experience is required.
  • Branding, graphic design experience required.
  • Digital and Social experience preferred.

Salary: $100-$125k
