LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to be working with a national company headquartered in the Vancouver, WA for a Direct Hire Leave of Absence Specialist. You will get to work with a collaborative team and for a company that provides services to support people. We are looking for:

• 2+ years of in-house leave management

• Experience with FMLA, PFML, ADA, and other state leaves

• Manage and administer employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and company policy

• Generate appropriate documentation for leave requests and communicate with employees and managers regarding the process

• Provide guidance on FMLA, PFML, ADA, and other state or federal employee leaves of absence

• Administer the Company's 401(k) Plan, including annual audits and compliance testing

• Prepare and send legally required notices to employees regarding their leave status

• Provide training and education to managers on leave policies and benefits information

• Maintain confidential leave of absence files and sensitive HR information

• Advise management and employees on the 401(k) plan and ensure compliance with ERISA provisions

• Supervise preparation of reports and applications required by law for federal and state agencies

• Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to ERISA provisions

• 11+ years of experience in HR or related field

• Experience in leave and 401(k) administration preferred

• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
