Title: Project Manager - Civil/Structural

Location: Green River, WY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate project development and execution.
  • Determine project development and execution strategies, including contracting plan, material management plan, and integrated project schedule.
  • Manage project team and develop team members (maintenance, operations, safety).
  • Utilize the capital deployment process for project development and execution.
  • Manage and forecast project costs.
  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, plant engineering standards, and equipment standards.
  • Ensure compliance with process safety, ergonomics, MSHA, ISO, environmental agencies, applicable codes, and regulatory agencies.
  • Manage departmental record keeping and databases.

Activities:

  • Manage and coordinate project development and execution, including development of AFEs and evaluation of project economics.
  • Oversee management of change (MOC) process.
  • Assist in performing root cause analyses (RCAs).
  • Determine project development and execution strategies, including contracting plan, material management plan, and integrated project schedule.
  • Utilize the capital deployment process for project development and execution.
  • Manage and forecast project costs.
  • Participate in the development and administration of the capital plan.
  • Manage projects, including cost accountability.
  • Collaborate with various departments across the site, including operations, maintenance, and support groups.
  • Prepare design, drawings, and specification documents.
  • Prepare bid/request documents, addendums, and change orders for the procurement phase.
  • Interface directly with discipline engineers.
  • Coordinate and ensure projects comply with regulatory and code requirements.
  • Handle project closure and accounting interface.
  • Support project systems.
  • Support ISO efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Capabilities, and Educational Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering with five or more years of Civil/Structural experience, OR a B.S. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in Project Management, strongly preferred.
  • Engineer in Training certificate or Professional Engineering license preferred.
