Role Description

This job is like alchemy. It is taking and the art from our design team and helping to make that a reality. This role with work directly under someone with years of experience to learn the ins and outs of our products. Our designers work up custom solutions and our engineering team translates that into workable drawings for production. This role would help execute the engineering needs for the production drawing sets that would impact the end users.


This is a full-time on-site role for an AutoCAD Detailer at Forecast Consoles, Inc. The AutoCAD Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software, collaborating with the design team to develop customized control room layouts, and ensuring accuracy and precision in all drawings.


Key Responsibilities:

-      Create and modify detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings based on project requirements.

-      Assist in the development and organization of engineering drawings and documentation.

-      Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and implement solutions.

-      Maintain project files and ensure all drawings are up-to-date and accurately reflect project changes.

-      Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.

-      Perform quality checks on drawings and documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.

-      Assist with project management tasks as needed.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software
  • Experience in creating technical drawings and plans
  • Knowledge of control room design principles
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in the broadcast industry is a plus
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
