Position: Grants Functional Consultant

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field


Experience:

  • 6 to 10 years of experience working in a Finance Technology or Information Technology environment
  • Certifications in Workday Financials preferred
  • Workday Grants Management experience
  • Two or more full lifecycle implementations of cloud-based applications, including delivery of project plans, estimates, management presentations, and user communications
  • Experience implementing the following Workday business processes is preferred: Grants Management, Labor Costing, Accounting (including the Foundational Data Model), Budgets, Allocations, and Customers (Billing and AR)
  • Finance and Payroll Accounting domain knowledge


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on how to best leverage system capabilities to satisfy specific client needs
  • Perform business analysis and compose clear, comprehensive functional requirements
  • Diagnose, document, and resolve complex application issues from a functional, administrative, and operational perspective
  • Support downstream integration requirements including the Foundational Data Model and troubleshoot data issues encountered by internal and external third-party applications
  • Develop comprehensive system integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing scenarios
  • Develop user documentation including Job Aides, Operational Guides, Online Content, etc.


Skills:

  • Consistently high level of customer service, collaboration, and consensus-building skills while working with internal clients and/or stakeholders
  • Workday Grants Management experience
  • Two or more full lifecycle implementations of cloud-based applications, including delivery of project plans, estimates, management presentations, and user communications
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Business and system analysis skills
  • Finance and Payroll Accounting domain knowledge
  • Technology aptitude and learning ability
  • High level of accountability and ability to work independently
