Outside Sales Representative

Our client, a specialist in construction and industrial equipment rentals, is looking for an energetic and driven Outside Sales Representative (OSR) to join its expanding team. They provide a wide range of machinery, including excavators, lifts, and forklifts.


The OSR will work closely with the team to promote and sell products/services to both new and existing customers. The ideal candidate should possess a 'hunter' mentality and a robust drive to succeed.


A background in the equipment rental sector is highly desirable.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify, contact, and qualify new prospects.
  • Respond to customer calls and follow up on existing quotes.
  • Assist with project execution tasks and answer customer queries.
  • Meet assigned revenue quotas and submit activity reports.
  • Maintain CRM database with customer information and interactions.
  • Stay within budgetary requirements and ensure a safe work environment.


Job Requirements:

  • Highly motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experienced in cold calling, prospecting, and relationship development.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to make decisions.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
