FarmHouse Fresh Skincare is seeking a meticulous and dynamic Purchasing Coordinator to join our Purchasing Team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, embraces challenging tasks, excels in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates exceptional teamwork abilities. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end purchasing process, foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, and ensure the timely delivery of products and components.


Responsibilities:


Purchase Order Management:

  • Place orders with vendors for components and product filling services.
  • Monitor and update purchase orders in ERP system throughout the different stages of the purchase order, including ordering, shipping, and receiving.
  • Follow up with vendors on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Address back-orders and delayed shipments, collaborating with the operations team to resolve issues.


Logistics Coordination:

  • Create Transfer Orders between third-party logistics (3PL) providers and vendors to move components and finished goods.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy for all transfers between locations and vendors.
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and shipments
  • Receive and process transfer orders and purchase orders in ERP system.


Vendor Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Work closely with vendors to facilitate a seamless purchasing process.
  • Efficiently manage urgent orders and documentation between vendors and the internal team.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with the Product Development team on strategic supplier initiatives to optimize the vendor base.
  • Assist in unique logistics projects as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure business objectives are met.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute ideas to improve purchasing processes and systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.


Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain management.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management apps is an advantage.


Skills:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities.
