Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You will be responsible for collecting and recording patient data, reporting information to nursing team members, and performing various clerical duties under the direct supervision of licensed nurses.

  • Collects and records patient data, including vital signs, height, weight, nutritional intake, and output.
  • Performs routine urinary catheter care and collects specimens as requested.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and maintaining continence.
  • Responds to patient call lights and requests in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Technician HUC, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas, including patient records, files, and reference documents.
  • Preparing reports, purchase orders, projects, memos, and letters using computer programs.
  • Tracking call light response time for the unit and assigning phone and location devices to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
