Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in analyzing and reporting information, partnering with various business units to provide comprehensive financial decision support. The ideal candidate will engage in strategic and general financial analysis, including supporting growth initiatives, conducting forward trend analysis, overseeing infrastructure projects, and evaluating investments using cost-benefit and ROI models. Additionally, this position involves collaborating with business partners to review financial results, capture variance explanations, reforecast items, and support the budget planning process. The role also encompasses the preparation and reporting of financial information, including monthly executive packages, board of director presentations, budget summaries, and sales & asset reporting.


Essential Functions:

  • Support the reporting, analysis, and surveillance of financial information for Business Technology Services (BTS), including ROI analysis and oversight of major capital investments.
  • Collaborate with business partners in customer divisions to provide budget management support and develop financial models for various projects.
  • Perform various ad hoc financial analyses as required to support business objectives.


Job Requirements:

  • ​​​​​BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
  • An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Three or more years of direct finance work experience is desired, with preference for experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience working with or within software development groups is a plus.
  • Strong computer and Excel skills are required, with proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Access, Business Objects, and/or SRC Budgeting is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude with a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with business partners and management at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail and initiative.
  • Capability to translate complex factors into concise, decision-supporting analysis.
