Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage research education workshops and courses and lead the education committee
  • Establish goals and designs and monitor progress, including budget and financial tracking.
  • Supervise activities of the Research Education Coordinator
  • Act as liaison for committee of physicians and researchers to facilitate discussions, initiatives, and programs
  • Manage education initiatives and programs to include content development, timelines, budget, and logistics in partnership with meetings and marketing departments
  • Secure funding through public or private grants
  • Establish continuing medical education credit for research offerings
  • Manage all areas of research education activities including content development, recruitment, vendor contracts, registration, and reporting
  • Develop SOPs and maintain databases for education programs and participants
  • Promote research to members and medical community through education programming
  • Monitor financials to ensure compliance with budget guidelines
  • Create reports and presentations for promotional materials and communication for program support


Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor degree required
  • 5+ years of project management or professional education experience
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience required
  • Experience working with medical education/ACCME or similar accreditation
  • Nonprofit or medical association experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge with MS Office
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Available to work occasional extended hours as needed
