Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension)

Location: St. Paul, MN (55102)

Shift: 8 am - 5 pm

Min pay rate starts from: $36/hr on W2


Job Responsibilities:

  • Screen talent pools and confirm basic qualifications, skill set, interest, job fit, salary requirements, career pipeline and work authorization.
  • Conduct phone screen interviews to identify qualified candidates and partners with managers throughout the staffing process.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to develop effective marketplace recruitment strategies.
  • Identify target industries, companies, user groups, professional associations, or education institutions to proactively create pools of qualified candidates.
  • Prepare and implement strategies using multiple techniques including online and internal databases, employee referrals, college recruitment, etc.
  • Maintain communication routines with hiring managers, senior leadership, HR partners, and internal associates to keep people informed and accountable.
  • Develop internal and external networks to support passive sourcing efforts.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, to include extensive use of our internet related recruiting systems

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience sourcing in a corporate or agency environment
  • Experience leveraging innovative sourcing techniques & benchmarking, including significant proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean to identify passive talent
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining relationships with internal & external stakeholders, working through ambiguity, and adapting to change

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to demonstrate a successful record of using rapport-building phone skills (listening, probing, persuading) in previous recruiting assignment
  • Strong sales aptitude and ability to effectively use interviewing techniques to evaluate candidates’ qualifications in relation to the position requirements to determine a successful match

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to make recommendations and decisions based on solid assumptions
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP requirements

  • Knowledge of employment law and hiring practices to include OFCCP requirement
  • Proactive and innovative with strong problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, team-player attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education: Bachelor’s degree, 2-4 years exp

Experience using LinkedIn insights, can put together/build out a robust sourcing strategy around hunt for talent and readjust as needed, knowledge of market conditions.

Working on sourcing for sales roles primarily, with some supply chain/functions roles
