Reports To: Corporate Equipment Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt


SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This is a non-union, supervisory position responsible for coordinating all fleet services

activities with INTREN’s operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist Claims department on all asset involved claims.

• Work with Regional Equipment Managers to move, repair, and maintain all assets involved in a

claim.

• Direct assigned employees in the completion of their responsibilities; set priorities, assign

work to personnel, and set schedules for completion of work.

• Effectively recommend the hiring, transfer, suspension, or discharge of subordinate

personnel.

• Establish work standards for all personnel and equipment types.

• Train personnel in correct and safe operating procedures.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and organizational policies,

and procedures.

• Lead, direct, and assign union and non-union employees in the completion of their

responsibilities.

• Develop Process and Procedure for all asset recalls.

• Oversee all asset recalls for the enterprise.

• Develop Training process for inhouse mechanics.

• Support all Regional Directors and Regional Equipment Managers.

• Any other tasks assigned.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Five years of Utility Fleet/Supply Chain related experience highly preferred.

• Customer service background with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of current trends and technological developments pertaining to vehicle operations

and maintenance.

• Knowledge of applicable Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

• Excellent computer skills in most Microsoft programs including Word and Excel.

• Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and meet varying deadlines.
