Marasco & Nesselbush, an 80-person, Rhode Island law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our growing Personal Injury Legal team. This unique individual will play a key role and will set the direction for our team-oriented culture as we strive to exceed our clients’ expectations by providing extraordinary legal care. The Legal Assistant will work directly with the firm’s legal team to accomplish excellence within our growing firm. What you’ll be doing:
- Manage personal injury and medical malpractice legal files from onset of matter through settlement or until transferred to litigation team.
- Perform new client intakes with attorneys and meet with clients from onset of case throughout lifecycle of matter.
- Deliver and maintain exceptional client service to all internal and external clients.
- Adept at building relationships with clients.
- Electronic and physical records maintenance.

- Organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, and work both within a team and independently.
- Experience with personal injury and medical malpractice legal process.
- Knowledge of property damage claims and liens.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
- Degree in legal studies or equivalent.
