Job Title: Labor Compliance Specialist


Job Summary:


The Labor Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all prevailing wage laws and regulations for construction projects. This includes submitting conformance requests for labor classifications and wage determinations and maintaining accurate records.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with all applicable prevailing wage laws and regulations, including but not limited to Davis-Bacon and state-specific prevailing wage laws.
  • Submit conformance requests for labor classifications and wage determinations to the appropriate government agencies as required.
  • Monitor and track compliance with prevailing wage rates and requirements on construction projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of prevailing wage rates and related documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance to project managers, superintendents, and other team members on prevailing wage compliance requirements.
  • Review and analyze contract specifications and bid documents for compliance with prevailing wage laws and regulations.
  • Work with outside legal counsel and government agencies on prevailing wage-related issues and audits.
  • Ensure that all employees and contractors understand and comply with prevailing wage laws and regulations.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in prevailing wage compliance management or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Davis-Bacon and state-specific prevailing wage laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
