Tax Compliance Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at MaryAnn Markowitz & Associates. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for reviewing tax compliance engagements, tax planning, and tax provisions for both enterprise and individual clients.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, with a CPA or Master's degree in Accounting being preferred. Strong research and compliance skills are essential, along with excellent tax accounting/technology skills and proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance and consulting.

Responsibilities include corporate taxation, consolidated returns, S-Corporation taxation, partnership taxation, individual taxation, estate/trust/gift returns, and state and local tax matters. You will oversee client engagements from beginning to end, including planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects while effectively managing time and expenses.

A salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered to successful candidates. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
