Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including prospecting and acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing excellent customer service. The Sales Manager will work closely with our team of office and sales personnel to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of products and services to our clients. The role is located in Queens, NY.


Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the steel industry or related field
  • Knowledge of steel products and their applications
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)


Responsibilities:

  • Devise and execute strategic sales plans to fulfill company objectives.
  • Lead and inspire a team of sales representatives to exceed sales goals.
  • Identify and nurture new business prospects, fostering client relationships.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis for strategic insights.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
  • Provide continuous training and support to the sales team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure stellar customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly track sales metrics and furnish management with comprehensive reports.


Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in business development and outside sales.
  • Strong leadership acumen, capable of motivating teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Stellar customer service skills and adept at relationship-building.
  • Proficient in analyzing market trends and crafting effective sales strategies.
  • Experience in account management and nurturing long-term client relations.
  • Knowledge of technology sales is advantageous.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
