New Look Cosmetics is a leading contract manufacturer of color cosmetics located in Chatsworth, CA. We are seeking to fill the position of Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience managing client relationships in a contract manufacturing environment, growing existing accounts, and can using their network to secure new business. This individual must be able to interface directly with clients and internal departments in a fast paced environment.  Managing existing relationships and securing new partnerships utilizing their network and promotion of company will be pivotal to the role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Meet sales goals established by the VP of Sales.
  • Utilize your network to reach out to potential new clients.
  • Identifying white space opportunities with existing and potential clients, work with Director of Innovation and R&D team to develop targeted products, and proactively pitching those products to existing and potential new relationships.
  • Conduct facility tours showcasing current capabilities and capacities.
  • Oversee R&D projects to ensure timely delivery and communicate progress to clients.
  • Work with R&D and VP of Sales to prepare quotes.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients.
  • Oversee projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to determine project timelines, communicate challenges, and partner on solutions for any challenges that may arise.
  • Directly manage customer-initiated challenges. Coordinating with cross-functional teams (R&D, QA/QC, Supply Chain, Production, etc.) and client to develop and execute resolution plan.


Qualifications

  • Three or more years of sales experience within the cosmetics industry. Experience within a contract manufacturing setting is a preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills and detail oriented.
  • Critical thinker, problem solver and decision maker.
  • Must be able to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and work with various groups towards an objective.
  • Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude.
