Schedule: M-F Hybrid 4 days on site


Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with our external benefits partners to ensure team member eligibility rules are applied
  • Explain company benefits programs and policies and responds to benefit inquires and assists with eligibility, deduction and claim issues
  • Be the employer liaison between third-party benefit administrators and team members for benefit-related questions
  • Provide advocacy and education during onboarding
  • Manage the Benefits email box and provides resolution daily
  • Audit weekly benefits file transfer feed for issues and corrects as applicable
  • Assist benefits team with benefit communication activities including planning and conducting employee benefit seminars for all employees.
  • Revises and reissues all communication materials on benefits as needed
  • Manages relocation program administration and expense reimbursements
  • Support wellness programs, communications, and other wellness program logistics
  • Administer education assistance programs (GED, online college, and tuition reimbursement)
  • Be the administrator/liaison between external Leaves Administration partner and internal HR Business Partners for state leave, FMLA, LOA and ADA
  • Partners with Safety to provide FMLA to eligible workers compensation claimants
  • Perform close looped payroll reconciliation and audit weekly
  • Respond to state sick leave and disability claim requests
  • Perform monthly Affordable Care Act (ACA) measurements to determine employee benefits eligibility
  • Support annual benefit open enrollment initiatives and education
  • Handle details in a confidential nature
  • Respond to Qualified Medical Child Support Orders and ensure enrollment compliance
  • Support all COBRA escalations to ensure compliance
  • Audit, identify and initiate eligibility for all ACA benefits eligible in company benefits administration portal


Requirements:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
  • 3 or more years’ Human Resources experience a plus.
  • Preferred 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related.
  • 3 years of progressive experience administering employee benefits, absence management or other human resources programs.
  • Have current knowledge of employee benefits and the ability to present, review and explain detailed plan information with employees at all levels
