Overview The Global Social Media team is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead asset trafficking and creative production management as well as reporting and managing toward targets and goals across our Canada social media channels across Facebook, Instagram, X. This individual has strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This individual is highly detailed oriented, has experience in social media marketing, achieving targets, and budget management, understands how to communicate effectively upward as well as with key stakeholders for both transparency and clarity in project management efficiency. As a cross-functional collaborator, the ideal candidate will lead connecting the dots across a multitude of teams, leveraging skills of diplomacy and tact to drive alignment and forward momentum, seamlessly adapting to varied working styles on the team in service to the ultimate goal of a unified integrated marketing program with final execution on our social media channels and working with others across the social media team. Ideally, this candidate has specific experience with the Canadian market, and is fluent in Quebecois.


Social Media Manager Responsibilities

Social Media Marketing

  • Develop and manage social media content calendars for all Canadian social platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, others)
  • Create engaging, platform-specific content that resonates with Canadian audiences in collaboration with our agency (including appropriate monthly briefings to develop content)
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using relevant tools and metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Manage community engagement, reviewing agency comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to support product launches, promotions, and company initiatives
  • Work with influencers and partners to expand our reach in the Canadian market
  • Ensure all content adheres to our brand guidelines and is culturally relevant to Canadian audiences including in Quebecois language
  • Meet all targets for the Canadian channels issued globally


Project Management

  • Serves as a project manager through development of comprehensive project plans and maintains templates and creative briefing tools for key initiatives, working side by side with our social creative leaders. Ensures project team and stakeholder alignment through execution while working closely with internal stakeholders and outside agencies
  • Lead in tracking and communicating project status, deliverables, specs, dependencies, and potential issues to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Route assets and plans to internal stakeholders (PR, Legal) for approval
  • Track and plan budgets for internal and external resources
  • Track and file documentation (creative briefs, contracts, reference items, etc)
  • Identifies, drives and implements improvements to existing processes that will improve efficiency and reduce churn for social team and business at large


Social Media Manager Qualifications

  • Experience in managing large, multi faceted budgets with precision to detail, including forecasting and invoice/PO management
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner (5+ years project management experience)
  • Experience managing creative assets and briefing agency partners
  • Experience in community management
  • Knows project management principles, processes and tools
  • Team player with a passion to work closely with others while maintaining an entrepreneurial, self-starter spirit
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to build a strong rapport and trust with resources across multiple functional areas.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills, which are crucial in our current hybrid environment. Ideally can speak and/or understand Quebecois.
