Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) to lead and oversee the delivery of our services to Federal and State government clients. The CDO will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting talent, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in recruitment & delivery leadership, with a strong focus on government clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Resource & Talent Management:

Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to source high-quality IT candidates for Federal and State government projects.

Develop and execute strategies to identify, attract, and retain top talent for project delivery.

Manage resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization and project success.

Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to attract a diverse pool of candidates.

Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate qualifications and fit for specific roles.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future project needs.

  1. Delivery Management:

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of services and projects to Federal and State government clients.

Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.

Implement best practices in project management and delivery processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

  1. Client Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government clients and stakeholders.

Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery-related matters and ensure client satisfaction.

Address and resolve any delivery issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

  1. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of quality and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Implement robust quality assurance processes and continuously improve delivery methodologies.

Monitor compliance with government regulations and industry standards.

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement strategic plans for delivery operations aligned with company goals.

Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in delivery processes and services.

Provide regular updates to the executive team on delivery performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

  1. Team Leadership and Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing delivery team.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/sales management or a related field;
  • 15+ years of experience in delivery leadership roles, with a significant portion focused on Federal and State government clients.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering talented resources in complex projects and services to government clients.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
