Senior Account Manager

The Account Management team at PTG is the face of the company to both existing and new clients. While there are day to day responsibilities associated with all accounts doing business with PTG, it is the expectation that the Senior Account Manager will nurture and care for existing business while also finding and developing new streams of revenue within existing accounts as well as new logos.
Responsibilities
- Drive opportunities within existing accounts that lead to new streams of revenue for PTG across all of our solutions
- Prospect for new logos that have not done business in the past with PTG
- Create account specific strategies with new and existing accounts to maximize the business potential aligning with PTG goals
- Meet or exceed topline revenue and profitability target for your accounts
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of solution offerings and technology changes within the industry
- Properly input and maintain sales data into CRM including sales forecasts, close dates, install dates, etc.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to designated accounts
- Set opportunities up in CRM, ensuring all pertinent information is accounted for
- Create quotes and pricing proposals from customer submitted requests
- Forecast and track key account metrics (i.e. quarterly sales results, annual forecasts) as well as account development as required by the PTG Leadership Team
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer/industry relationships in alignment with the PTG values
- Manage customer construction schedules to submit proposals and pricing based on the schedule
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solution proposals according to customer needs and objectives
- Prepare reports on account status
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
Qualifications
- College Degree or related experience
- CTS certification preferred
- 5+ years proven work experience as an Account Manager in the AV industry
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
