HYPREVENTION, a French start-up founded in 2010 by Cécile Vienney and 3 orthopedic surgeons, develops, manufactures, and markets implantable medical devices to reinforce weakened bones by osteoporosis or cancer using the STRUTPLASTY® Technology. In 2021, Hyprevention INC was established in New-York, USA to promote the FDA-cleared V-STRUT© Vertebral Implant. The company aims to provide unique solutions to treat vertebral fractures and prevent contra-lateral fractures in patients at risk due to bone fragility linked to osteoporosis. Hyprevention is committed to improving the quality of life for older people by enabling them to retain their autonomy.


Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Medical Device Sales Representative located in the Chicago metropolitan area, IL, with flexibility for some remote work. The Medical Device Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of the V-STRUT© Vertebral Implant. The role involves identifying potential customers, promoting and selling medical devices to orthopedic surgeons, and conducting product demonstrations in the operating room. The Medical Device Sales Representative will also provide support and education to healthcare professionals on the use and benefits of the products.


Qualifications

  • Experience in medical sales and orthopedics
  • Knowledge of the operating room environment
  • Understanding of orthopedic medicine
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel and work independently
  • Experience in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
