Join us as a Senior Infrastructure Architect and take the lead in shaping the future of our clients' global infrastructure services. Your responsibilities will include engaging with platform customers, collaborating with peers, and providing timely updates to senior management. We're seeking an ideal candidate with extensive experience in various facets of enterprise Data Center Networking, including routing, switching, wireless access, and SD-WAN. Proficiency in firewall controls, load balancing, security infrastructure, and remote access connectivity solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect and Palo Alto Prisma Access (SASE) is highly desirable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Architect large-scale enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures, encompassing switches, firewalls, and other network hardware to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Oversees the Americas region IT Infrastructure team including Network Engineers and System Engineers.
  • Design and implement advanced Data Center technologies such as VXLAN and SDDI to enhance efficiency and agility.
  • Continuously improve network monitoring and observability capabilities to ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues.
  • Manage critical core services including DHCP, DNS, IP address Management, and Load Balancing to maintain seamless operations.
  • Define requirements to support budget plans and recommend strategies to improve performance, reduce costs, and align with business objectives.
  • Lead large-scale network refresh projects and divisional expansion initiatives, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design and manage network capacity and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements.
  • Collaborate on development efforts to introduce automation into the network environment, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry best practices, partnering with cybersecurity teams to conduct security assessments and maintain adherence to standards.
  • Serve as the platform's technical subject matter expert, providing consulting support to business and end-user organizations, and negotiating deployment strategies with key stakeholders.
  • Produce and maintain accurate engineering documentation, while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders and areas of the organization.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by leadership, and adhere to organizational and safety policies as outlined in the employee handbook.

Education and/or Experience

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunication, or a related field. Alternatively, demonstrate a combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Bring 5-8+ years of experience in networking, serving in roles such as infrastructure or networking architect.
  • Showcase 5-8+ years of network experience in multinational enterprises with 5000+ users, emphasizing proficiency in network design.
  • Exhibit expertise in designing enterprise-scale routing and switching environments, MPLS/VPN, SD-WAN, WLAN, Cisco ISE, Identity/Authentication solutions, Network Topologies, Load Balancing, QoS, and SDDI.
  • Experience in the technology, supply chain, logistics, or freight forwarding industries is advantageous, demonstrating a holistic understanding of relevant operational contexts.

Language Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in Business Administration or Computer Science from a reputable 4-year college or university.
  • 7 to 9 years of prior experience in a supervisory role within a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in working with Windows 2003-2016, VMware, and Server Blade Technologies, including Cisco UCS.
  • Experience with Storage Technologies, particularly Dell XtremIO, is advantageous and will be viewed favorably.

Certifications:

  • MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunications.
  • Active certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, CCSE, or CCIE are advantageous.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Possession of a current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification or other relevant certifications from a Microsoft accredited education institution or recognized professional associations in their respective field is a plus.
