Key Responsibilities:
As a Strategic Business Architect, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading and overseeing the implementation of SAP Sales and Distribution.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and end-users to identify functional requirements within SAP Production Planning.
  • Creating comprehensive systems documentation, test scripts, and presentations.
  • Translating user requests into effective application system solutions.
  • Analyzing user requirements to design and implement system configurations, enhancements, and modifications.
  • Utilizing your business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement.
  • Configuring the SAP SD system to align with business needs.
  • Preparing functional specifications for RICEFW objects and guiding ABAP resources on requirements.
  • Designing and developing interfaces and conversion programs to/from existing legacy systems.
  • Providing general technical support in business systems analysis and conducting SAP training as necessary.
  • Offering leadership and guidance to systems analysts, business teams, and implementation partners.
  • Defining and developing best practices, solution demonstrations, and functional configurations.
  • Coordinating and developing user documentation and training.
  • Supporting cutover activities and providing knowledge transfer and hyper-care support.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the role or 3 years of SAP SD experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, an additional two years of experience in the specified fields will be accepted.

Required Experience:
Candidates must demonstrate:
  • Completion of at least two full-lifecycle projects delivering new solutions.
  • Configuration experience in SD and integration points with other SAP modules such as WM, PP, MM, CRM, or FI/CO.
  • Experience with Make to Order, Make to Stock, and Engineering to Order processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
