We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco voice technologies, Cisco routing and switching, and general telephony systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and a successful history of deploying customer-facing Teams Voice solutions. Experience with Cisco UCS is required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the consolidation of voice telecommunications, networks, and equipment across multiple corporate locations.
  • Provide escalated support for the telecommunications team.
  • Manage or contribute to resolving complex issues affecting network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with vendors to upgrade and consolidate voice services.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in Cisco router, switch, firewall, UCS, and voice solutions to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Maintain and support Cisco SBCs, Teams, and Cisco configurations.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve VoIP and unified communications component issues.
  • Assist in structuring, planning, estimating, delivering, deploying, and operating services and network infrastructure supporting enterprise architecture.
  • Develop technical documentation for engineering and operational teams.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing necessary training and support.
  • Resolve escalated network and security support issues.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience implementing VoIP protocols, VoIP codecs, Cisco Session Border Controller (SBC), and Unified Computing System (UCS) in enterprise networks.
  • Experience with Analog, Voice, and Expressway Gateways.
  • Proficient in TCP/IP, SIP, QoS, DNS, and LDAP.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Router Voice Gateways (H.323, MGCP, and SIP).
  • Working knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
