Reports To: Director of Sales


Job Purpose: Execute Sales Plan within channel and key customers.

 

Responsibilities


Sales Planning:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with brand positioning and promotional activities.


Budget Planning:

Manage sales budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Monitor expenses, analyze financial data, and adjust strategies as needed to meet financial goals.


Channel Management:

Leverage experience across various sales channels, including retail, e-commerce, foodservice, and wholesale distribution.

Identify and cultivate relationships with key channel partners to expand market reach and drive sales growth.


Trade Shows and Events:

Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

Network with potential clients, showcase products, and generate leads to support sales efforts.


Sales Execution:

Demonstrate successful execution in sales projects and opportunities, with the ability to meet and exceed targets.

Utilize strong negotiation skills and persuasive techniques to close deals and secure partnerships.


Positive Brand Representation:

Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying the values and ethos of our bakery in all interactions.

Foster positive relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance brand reputation and loyalty.


Organic Food Industry Insights:

Stay informed about trends, market developments, and consumer preferences in the organic food industry.

Utilize industry insights to identify opportunities for product expansion and market penetration.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the organic food industry (CPG preferred).
  • Deep understanding of CPG sales principles, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing a sales team and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed to meet business demands.
