Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to play a key role in driving business growth. The ideal candidate will manage existing partnerships, build new relationships in key sectors, and ensure the smooth operation of sales initiatives within the team. This role involves collaborating with resellers, generating new leads, and keeping thorough records using Salesforce to support sales efforts and strengthen the company’s market presence.
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cultivate, grow, and maintain relationships with established reseller partners through in-person and digital communication.
- Prospect, engage, and convert new leads, with a focus on the hospitality industry.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and maintaining client accounts.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets in designated markets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and lead interactions in Salesforce.
- Conduct group training sessions for new and existing partners, focusing on Water Taxi’s offerings to enhance partnership success.
- Represent Water Taxi professionally at local networking events, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to drive additional business and strengthen relationships.
- Own and manage key accounts, driving brand presence and growth in the community.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong background in hospitality and event management.
- Proven relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience in the full sales cycle process and have customer service abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally and attend evening or weekend events as needed.
- Regular local travel to meet with reseller partners and participate in networking opportunities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate sales, account management, or a similar role.
This position pays $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year.
