JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a Warehouse Tech (Laboratory Coordinator) to support our laboratory operations in Highland Heights, KY. This role involves handling samples, maintaining inventory, and performing various administrative tasks according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is a vital role within the team, offering opportunities to learn and take on new challenges.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle sample and standard processing, including receipt, check-in, labeling, and inventory management.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support laboratory operations.
  • Communicate task status to supervisors and relevant laboratory staff.
  • Train on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements.
  • Support responses to environmental unit alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Ensure daily work assignments are completed accurately, timely, and safely.
  • Maintain detailed tracking and documentation according to SOPs.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0-1 year of relevant experience.
  • High/Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel is helpful.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequently stands, twists waists, squats, and bends for 4--6 hours per day.
  • Often enters industrial freezers to transport biological samples in a laboratory environment.
  • Moderate lifting of 15-40 lbs. with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
