Our client is looking for a candidate with a solid accounting foundation who is eager to learn from experienced leadership and gain exposure to various accounting areas. This role focuses on accounts payable, month-end close processes, and supporting annual audits. You will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team of passionate professionals who love what they do and are committed to mentoring.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices
  • Maintain accounts payable and treasury documentation, and conduct internal audits
  • Resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments
  • Implement budgets, policies, and departmental controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare monthly loan draw requests and manage the loan draw schedule
  • Foster relationships with vendors and lenders
  • Respond to information requests
  • Assist with the annual audit
  • Support month-end close activities as directed by senior staff


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in job costing or construction accounting is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in GAAP
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
  • Highly energetic, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
