Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an HR Manager for an established manufacturer in Raleigh. The HR Manager will be responsible for HR related duties to include payroll, benefits administration, employee relations and engagement, compliance, FMLA/LOA requests onboarding, training, and maintaining all records.


Responsibilities:

  • Supports Executive Team with providing guidance on employment laws, human resources practices, and related workforce issues that could impact business continuity or operations.
  • Administration of Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains hiring, discipline, and termination practices in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including but not limited to EEOC and OFCCP compliance.
  • Creates compliant annual Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1 Reports and related Federal or State reports.
  • Develops and maintains recruiting, succession, and development plans for the company.
  • Presents company-required HR-related training, as needed, and/or ensures training compliance.
  • Manages any relevant HR-related audits, complaints, or claims.
  • Responsible for ongoing compliance of maintaining employee files and associated records in accordance with all state and federal requirements.
  • Assists the HR Coordinator with processing weekly payroll, works closely with Payroll Team and Controller on payroll-related tasks. This includes but is not limited to: Developing and overseeing weekly payroll submission and entering year-end data in the payroll system, such as new group benefits, bonuses, salary increases, PTO balances; Etc.
  • Handles all FMLA/LOA requests and assists with all workers compensation claims.
  • Assists operations department with manpower reporting as needed.
  • Responsible for mediating employee conflicts and processing terminations in compliance with any relevant state and federal guidelines.
  • Manages all company Benefits (Medical/Dental/Life/HSA) enrollments, changes, and billing as required in accordance with any applicable corporate deadlines and regulations.
  • Responsible for overseeing the HR Department, which includes Recruiter and HR Coordinator.
  • Oversees the Orientation and Onboarding of all employees; ensures all compliance training and required company documents completed.
  • Completes and maintains records such as I-9’s, Social Security Verification, NC New Hire reporting, and background checks.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources required. Experience must include direct employee relations, benefits administration, and HR/HR compliance responsibilities.
  • Experience in providing proactive insights and guidance to the senior leadership team.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining confidentiality in all sensitive matters (i.e., employee relations, compensation, FMLA, etc.)
  • Human resource experience in the manufacturing/construction industry preferred.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
