Responsible for procuring a large portion of the company’s revenue growth through generating leads and finalizing sales to achieve sales objectives. Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving sales goals, generating leads, contacting prospects to create sales opportunities, and building excellent business and personal relationships that creates sales and business development opportunities.

Responsibilities

· Generates leads through multiple channels to finalize sale and achieve large portion of company’s revenue growth. Ensures completion of request-for-proposals, negotiates sales, presents rates and recommends solutions to brokers and clients, and finalizes new business.

· Leads development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities of significant size through customer contact and prospecting, working with brokers and internal departments to identify and analyze prospective employer group, payor, and other customers.

· Establishes and maintains relationships with brokers and clients, collaborating with sales, account management and marketing teams to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities

· Coordinate appointments, meetings and calls between prospects and sales team. Maintain prospect data in customer relationship management (CRM) tool to ensure data quality on an ongoing basis and manages, tracks, and reports on all activities and results

· Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions. Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful channel and partner programs while staying informed on product offerings.

· Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field. In lieu of degree, may consider equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 8 years of experience in health insurance sales/business development which includes broker relationships.

· Experience selling solution products/services with a focus on value-based selling methodologies.

· Demonstrated Wellness Industry Experience


Professional Certification(s):

· Sales Management Certification preferred.


Technical Skills and Knowledge:

· History in exceeding performance goals (lead-to-deal conversion, appointments scheduled, # of portal demos, proposals generated, closed wins) and quotas.

· In-depth knowledge of the wellness industry, regulations, and products

· Knowledge of sales and service techniques and best practices

· Knowledge of the Salesforce platform and LinkedIn Sales platform preferred.

· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
