Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a passionate, motivated Vice President Finance at one of Finaventures' portfolio companies in Tempe, AZ. The Vice President Finance will be responsible for financial planning, financial statements, finance, analytical skills, and financial reporting to the senior leadership team and the Board. They will work closely with the executive team to provide strategic financial guidance, oversee financial operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, hyper attention to detail and the ability to drive financial performance in a fast growth venture-backed company.


Qualifications

  • Strong financial planning, financial statements, and financial reporting skills
  • Experience in accounting and analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • CPA or CFA certification is a plus
  • Auditing experience is a plus
  • Expert user of NetSuite is a must
