AML/KYC Oversight team provides oversight and guidance so that the business delivers Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) strategies to assure our product and our customer base are fully compliant with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), PATRIOT Act and FINRA requirements. AML/KYC Oversight works closely with various groups, such as AML/KYC Operations, CCB and AWM lines of business, and Global Financial Crimes Compliance teams to deliver ongoing requirements for capturing, reporting and monitoring compliance with regulatory standards. 

The AML/KYC team is responsible for Anti Money Laundering (AML) strategic initiatives/projects to meet regulatory obligations. This will include conducting research, analysis and providing qualitative/quantitative insights to lead and direct the projects and initiatives to meet our AML/KYC Standards. The Reporting and Controls manager requires coordination of a variety of reporting and control activities to ensure adherence to firmwide policies and standards, as well as to provide transparency in execution. Team members are responsible to be knowledgeable of AML/KYC policies and standards, Control and Operational Risk policies, and Issue Management practices to ensure initiatives are within compliance and mitigate the AML/KYC risks to an acceptable level.

The individual will work in a dynamic environment and partner with AML/KYC leadership to deliver a best in class AML program. Responsibilities will include management of AML/KYC internal controls and reporting, including 4 team members.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead a dynamic, multi-functional team to support business reporting and controls for the CCB and AWM AML KYC organization. Responsible for providing overarching internal controls program for AML/KYC team Responsible for management / creation of process: Reporting Procedure change management Legal Regulatory Change Management Business Resiliency Plan SharePoint / Shared Drive management Access Recertification Best in Class internal controls for PI Scan, Record Retention SharePoint tool creation Functional ID, UWAT (Firmwide User Workflow and Assessment Tool), IS (Intelligent Solution) management ELA (Enterprise Library Application) Quality review of Internal Change Management Process SAT (Security Administration Tool) / AMG (Access Management Group) and other tools Data and Analytics BRD Oversight Training Oversight Letter Management and Oversight Regulatory, Procedures, KYC Standards Mapping Oversight of Internal Audit Readiness Program Support regulatory, audit, compliance, and legal requests Support product controls Partner across lines of business and the AML/KYC organization to align with and execute against strategic goals of the firmwide AML KYC program.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Minimum 7 years of financial service experience in controls, audit, and/or reporting,  Management experience required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required

Developing timely and sustainable solutions Analyze metrics for emerging risk Implementation and Change Management skills Ability to make subjective and informed decisions based upon output, influence stakeholders and justify decision making
