About the Team

Our Client & Investor Operations team is instrumental to Secfi’s core mission. The team works closely with clients, prospects, and investors to guide them through the financing journey, ultimately helping individuals finance their pre-IPO equity, for what is often one of their most important financial decisions.


About the Role

The Client & Investor Operations Associate will own the processes associated with Secfi’s Liquidity teams. They will ensure that clients have a streamlined transaction and settlements experience by coordinating with multiple stakeholders including our investment funds and business development team. We are looking for self-starters who are never satisfied and are always looking to improve processes internally and to be a champion for our clients and capital partners.


Responsibilities Include

  • Develop processes to help Secfi scale activities related to financing and settlement transactions.
  • Lead projects that will help improve efficiencies and scale for our Client Operations team.
  • Work with clients to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process
  • Own onboarding and deal processes including KYC and contracting.
  • Partner with other internal teams such as Capital Markets, Investments, Product, Legal, and Finance to help move initiatives forward that will streamline actions across departments.
  • Identify, communicate, and monitor discrepancies and workflow issues that can impact a financing transaction.
  • Develop and maintain technical and non-technical documentation and playbooks to assist with defining and explaining processes for both internal and external audiences.
  • Serving as a team player as we continue to improve and redesign Operations processes.


What You Bring

  • 2+ years experience in an operations or customer support role at a fintech or asset management company.
  • Team player with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and resolve problems and conflicts.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, while still maintaining flexibility to prioritize and execute in order to meet client and firm needs and support peak volumes.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn financial software tools and strong systems and technology skills.
  • Committed to promoting best practices in the application of policies, procedures, and processes related to financing transactions.
  • Resourceful and adaptive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
