Corporate Partnership Development - International Student Internship Placement

Position Summary: As a Corporate Partnership Development professional specializing in International Student Internship Placement, you will play a pivotal role in forging strategic collaborations with companies seeking to retain or open to hiring international students for internship opportunities as well as assisting students in meeting their academic and professional goals in the USA. This position offers a base salary plus performance-based commission.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1.Partnership Development/Recruitment:

  • Identify and target companies with a focus on those who currently hire international interns or open to hiring international students for internships.
  • Present educational opportunities to potential corporate partners, emphasizing the benefits of hosting international interns and the potential for current international employees to extend their work opportunities in the USA.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within target companies, including HR managers, hiring managers, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling materials and presentations for corporate outreach.

2.International Internship Placement:

  • Work one on one with students to help find matching host employers.
  • Review resumes and provide guidance to international students on interviews cultural nuances, and professional development to enhance their chances of successful placement.
  • Meet KPIs related to students presented and placed at partner employers.
  • Use data and feedback to refine strategies, improve processes, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the internship placement program.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, international relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, recruitment, corporate partnership development, preferably in the context of international talent acquisition or student placement.
  • Understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with hiring international students preferred. Willingness to learn is a must.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamics.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends in the internship and employment landscape.
