We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our North American sales team and drive revenue growth for our luxury jewelry brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury retail sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

 

Job Duties:

 

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in North America.
  2. Oversee sales forecasting and assortment planning within assigned territory in order to establish budgets, sales goals and measure profit margins;
  3. Maintain internal reports related to sell-out, jewelry imports from the Italian parent company, inventory levels, invoicing records, master orders and clients lists;
  4. Provides sales reporting and analysis to Worldwide Sales Manager, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer;

5.      Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including department stores and online retailers.

6.      Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the brand's presence in the region.

7.      Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to drive performance and foster a culture of excellence.

8.      Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

  1. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the jewelry industry and maintain a rich product knowledge relating to jewelry production processes and gemstones;
  2. Represent the brand at trade shows, client meetings and trunk shows to promote brand awareness, stimulate revenues, foster relationships and drive customer acquisition.

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

 

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field;

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the luxury retail industry, with a focus on jewelry or fashion.

3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.

4. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

6. Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis.

7. Flexibility to travel as needed within North America.
