Job Title: Project Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

An Electrical Project Engineer with at least one of the following:

·        Experience working with a self-performing contractor

·        Construction experience in a multi trade environment

·        A professional with the ability to perform the following tasks:

·        Provide technical support to a project team to expose, track, resolve, and notate project issues.

·        Manage all project documents through the document control team

·        Process and track submittals and RFI’s

·        Assist in the coordination of planning and fabrication activities

·        Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of quotations

·        Maintain project schedule via the Enterprise Scheduling Department

·        Prepare and issue meeting minutes

·        Assist with planning and managing site logistics

·        Implement corporate safety policies on jobsite

·        Receive, review, and evaluate subcontractor quotations

·        Assist in the tracking of change orders and cost management

·        Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities

·        Process new hire documents and verify accuracy of the site payroll submission

·        Participate in a culture of continuous learning, training, and skill development

·        Ability to travel and/or temporarily relocate based on project needs

·        Willingness to work in both office and on-site environments

·        Perform tasks at the discretion of the project management team

·         

Qualifications

·        One to three (1-3) years of relevant construction experience

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred, or a technical college degree with two (2) years construction experience

·        Data Center, Healthcare, Automotive, and/or Light Industrial experience

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·        Positive attitude with an aptitude for proactive and team-oriented problem solving

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related construction software

·        Commitment to Safety

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·        Must display time management skills.

·        Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.

·        Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time – In Person
