Job Overview: As an Office Administrator and Customer Service Representative at Fram Monument, you’ll play a key role in shaping the customer experience at our Baltimore location. Your responsibilities will include welcoming customers, handling phone inquiries and gathering important information for our memorial counselors. A crucial part of your position will involve customer service inquiries, data entry and supporting various office tasks as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service
  • Effectively convey information and actively listen to customer needs
  • Provide empathetic assistance, especially during sensitive situations
  • Ensure all customer requests and questions are addressed thoroughly and promptly
  1. Liaison Between Memorial Counselors and Cemeteries
  •  Perform data entry, filing, and maintaining office records accurately.
  •  Handle office correspondence and email communications efficiently.
  •  Assist in preparing paperwork and billing as needed.

  • Help make sure the phone and emails are answered promptly
  • Other office duties

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) preferred.

Experience

  • At least one year of experience as an intake specialist, office assistant, or similar role required
  •  Experience with customer service required

Skills

  •  Basic computer knowledge.
  •  Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to create, edit, print, scan, and send various forms of documentation.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
  •  Professional communication and a friendly demeanor
  • Excellent customer service
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
  • Effective record keeping and organizational skills.
  • A desire to learn the industry-specific knowledge of our company, such as:
  •   Local cemetery contacts and rules.
  • The types of monuments we provide.
  • Fram Monument’s unique workflow.
