GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Talent Management Specialist supports key talent management programs that enhance the employee experience and support our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). Responsible for the continuous improvement of talent management programs to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Company’s efforts. Owns and supports programs and special projects that drive talent management initiatives. This role promotes the development, engagement and retention of our most important asset, our people.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Drives and supports key areas of succession and performance management. This duty is performed daily, about 45% of the time.


2. Designs, develops and implements programs and initiatives that support and continuously improve the Know-Grow-Move talent model. This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.


3. Support talent management planning and reporting processes. This duty is performed as needed, about 25% of the time.


4. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
