Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation solutions, including PLC, HMI, and vision programming.
- Develop electrical panels and configure PLC programs for equipment.
- Perform quality checks and ensure proper machine control operations.
- Manage routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
- Create SOPs and analyze process issues for corrective actions.
- Author and execute change control and validation protocols.
- Ensure cybersecurity alignment across systems.
- Collaborate with teams to communicate progress and issues effectively.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff and technical training as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with GMP/Validation practices.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to read and modify control logic and HMI graphics.
- ARS/AGV experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
