The Senior Program Analyst will lead a team supporting the CBP Office of Acquisitions (OA), Mission Support Division (MSD) by providing administrative, communications, data analysis, strategic planning and program management support.

  • Lead and supervise the activities of a small team to fulfill all MSD task area requirements.
  • Support Freedom of Information Act related requests including: Maintaining the Microsoft SharePoint site, assisting in the review, accuracy and completion of the FOIA requests; and providing metrics and updates for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Support the Audits Division with external and internal audits and related information requests and other related work as assigned
  • Assist the Government with Congressional, OIG and higher headquarters tasking’s.
  • Assist the Government with preparing SES and headquarters level briefs, white papers, and memos used as the basis to support recommendations.
  • Develop and manage project plans, track tasks and schedules.
  • Assist the Government project manager in establishing team priorities.
  • Support development of acquisition milestone documentation and acquisition portfolio reviews.
  • Ability to prepare summaries, analyses, reports, charts, graphs, instructions, memoranda, and manuals/reference materials for benchmarking purposes or for inclusion in reports.
  • Interface with senior levels of management.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Freedom of Information Act, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acquisition Manual (HSAM) and other regulatory and policy supplements.
  • Experience and knowledge of Government Accounting Office and Office of Inspector General audit requests and other regulatory and policy supplements and audit process.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English
  • Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making.
  • Plan and organize work, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be a detailed-oriented, self-starter that is experienced in supporting senior Government leaders and other technical and business professionals.
  • Ability to research, gather, and synthesize data.
  • Ability to present conclusions and recommendations to management.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are required.
