Job Description


Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration and system administration, setting up and customizing Salesforce solutions to fit organizational processes
  • Experience configuring Salesforce Fusion Framework is highly desired
  • Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional system configurations
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including creating custom fields, objects, workflows, process automation, and reports
  • Hands-on experience importing data and creating user stories based on end-user requirements
  • Experience creating and managing user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access levels for their job role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues within the system
  • Experience conducting User-Acceptance Testing to ensure the changes meet desired outcomes
  • Ability to train end-users on how to use the platform properly


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience configuring Salesforce Fusion Framework is highly desired
  • Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform Developer Certifications


Project Details: Sempra has implemented the Fusion Framework System, powered by Salesforce, to manage Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) Services across the organization, including its utilities, SoCal Gas, and San Diego Gas & Electric. While the Fusion platform has been deployed within the company environment and its Emergency Management departments, it has not yet been fully configured for end-user functionality. We seek a skilled Salesforce Configuration Specialist to assist the Emergency Management department in setting up and configuring the Fusion platform for seamless use by business users.


Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize the Salesforce Fusion platform to meet specific business requirements, including creating and modifying objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in Emergency Management to gather requirements and ensure the platform aligns with business objectives.
  • Import data and create user stories based on end-user requirements.
  • Implement automation solutions, such as flows and process builders, to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure proper access and data protection.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues within the system.
  • Conduct acceptance testing to ensure the changes meet desired outcomes.
  • Train end-users on how to use the platform properly.
