Seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with healthcare expertise to join a growing team. The qualified candidate will have enterprise-level experience supporting IT application development teams and mapping of claims and clinical data. The Business Analyst will be seen as a change leader, the Sr. BA will lead and provide guidance to junior Health Care Analysts. The candidate is expected to be the primary liaison with key SMEs, collaborating with the business leaders to streamline and re-engineer processes and formulate system requirements, with the goal of delivering automated business solutions. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a highly visible state project and impact future growth.
- Leads cross-functional teams in requirements elicitation; provides guidance to other IT analysts and business partners; ensures business requirements and documentation align with the organization's goals.
- Conducts in-depth analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for solutions.
- Utilizes data and analytics to identify trends, patterns, and cons of decisions to impacted stakeholders.
- Communicates complex information and findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborates with technical resources to perform root cause analysis and complete remediation of data quality issues.
- Act as an SME and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive innovation and identity opportunities for growth.
- Appropriately adapts work and customer assistance methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.
Top Skills Details
- MUST have 5 years' experience in Health Care, specifically dealing with Health Plan (MCO) claims and clinical data.
- Strong technical background and experience with SCRUM, Agile, and other development methodologies. Certifications strongly preferred - SAFe, PMI-ACP, Scrum Alliance. .
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with various system development lifecycles such as waterfall, RUP, and Agile methods
- Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Proficiency with MS Project and MS Visio
- Experience with Jira (Atlassian) Products is a plus.
- Experience with Cognizant Product suite is a plus - QNXT, Care Advance, TCS, etc.
