Your Job Purpose:

To manage and oversee all aspects of mechanical subcontractor activities on a project, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met. This role requires coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and successful completion.

Your Job Description:

  • Follow document control procedures as directed by the Doc Control team.
  • Conduct weekly safety inspections. Report any hazards.
  • Understand contract documents and assigned scopes.
  • Review and distribute new documents to the field.
  • Assist in maintaining an open issues log and attend weekly design meetings.
  • Track and log project constraints.
  • Know the project schedule and milestones for your scopes.
  • Provide weekly updates on bid/buyout and material procurement.
  • Review, respond, and manage RFIs as per Project Workflow.
  • Maintain the Master Submittal Log for assigned trades
  • Track responses to RFPs for your scopes.
  • Negotiate and track Trade Partner changes
  • Inspect trade installations and first deliveries.
  • Assist in punch walks and entering punch list items
  • Monitor and close design issues.
  • Facilitate pre-installation meetings 2 weeks prior to install.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in construction, semiconductor, or industrial projects.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge of boilers, chillers, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
