Title: Product Manager - Data Lifecycle Management

Duration: 12 month contract + extensions

Location: Hybrid Role, 2x a week on-site in Hoboken, NJ

Rate: 60-75HR


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

  • Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, and product management. - Strong understanding of different types of data and how to classify them.

- Experience with workflow management and designing workflows.

- Proficiency in BI tool reporting.

- Excellent communication skills, with experience writing business requirement documents.

- Ability to understand and document business problems and requirements.

- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities


JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data lifecycle management, workflow design, and data governance. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our data products, from creation to classification, ensuring data quality and lineage, and working closely with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Day to day will include: - Oversight of the entire lifecycle of data, from creation to classification, ensuring data quality and lineage. - Design and management of workflows, ensuring efficient data processing and reporting - Development and maintenance of a comprehensive metadata catalog, cataloging all types of data - Implementation and management of data governance policies, ensuring data privacy and classification - Writing business requirement documents, understanding business problems, and documenting requirements to work with UX and engineering teams to create solutions - Participation in daily huddles, managing a backlog of work, and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of projects
