What you’ll be doing:

  • Manages activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products
  • Works with stakeholders to define the product vision and effectively communicate the vision to the team and stakeholders
  • Owns the team or program backlog and implementation
  • Proactively identifies and presents opportunities that address challenges faced by the organization and drive a competitive advantage through analysis of industry trends and customer needs
  • Defines iterations and user stories
  • Ensures each iteration delivers working software and each release is a minimally viable set of features
  • Enables clear, concise, and effective reporting and communication flow across product and technical teams
  • Assists in the adoption and maturing of agile practices across the SAFe Train
  • Works with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfilment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transition products from development
  • Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases
  • Acts as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products
  • Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map
  • Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements
  • May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests
  • Responsible for product delivery, managing schedules, and tasks related to all aspects of product development
