Inside Sales Representative

Do you throw great parties? Would you like to get paid doing it? Then you're ready for a job as an Inside Sales Representative at Texas Tent. Our sales staff are the main point of contact for our clients as they prepare for important events in their lives and businesses. We provide services for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more. Inside Sales Representatives manage the sales process and assist clients with logistics of their events and equipment rentals. This role will exclusively deal with inbound sales and requires no outbound sales responsibilities.
Texas Tent is a party and event rental company, located in Garland, TX, that places a high level of importance on its products and people. We've been in business since 2017 and are rapidly growing. We are looking for an inside sales representative capable of evaluating customer needs as well as suggesting and selling event rentals to our existing customer base via email and phone. Our sales staff also provide support to clients through Texas Tent’s sister company, Texas Entertainment Group (TEG). This role will primarily focus on tent sales but may provide supplemental support for TEG.

Ideal Requirements:
- Communication: Inside Sales Representatives talk to clients, listening to their needs and presenting ideas and solutions to their requirements. They also work with suppliers, contractors, employees, staff and many other parties at the same time. Customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
- Computer Skills: Our Inside Sales Representatives rely on computers to communicate, plan, budget and organize their events.
- Negotiation Skills: Inside Sales Representatives will need negotiation skills to work out prices with clients and contractors.
- Organization: We work with multiple clients and multiple events at the same time. Our Inside Sales Representatives must be organized and be able to multi-task.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Inevitably, challenges will arise when working with events. Being able to quickly solve the issue is required.
- Preference will be given to applicants with previous sales experience with event equipment and/or tent rentals.
